1. What we collect
Account info (email, name, password hash, role); content you upload (logos, voices, photos) and generate (scripts, voiceovers, images, videos); usage analytics (page views, clicks, render counts); billing data (handled by Stripe — we don't store card numbers).
2. Why we collect it
To operate the Service, authenticate you, route AI generation to providers, deliver paid features, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
3. Third-party processors
Generation tasks are sent to: OpenAI (scripts + GPT Image 2), Google Gemini (Nano Banana), fal.ai (Kling / Veo / Seedance video), HeyGen (avatars), ElevenLabs (voice), Stripe (billing), Resend (transactional email). Each has its own privacy policy.
4. Storage
Data is stored in MongoDB (encrypted at rest by the cloud provider). Uploaded media is stored on application servers. API keys you provide are encrypted with AES-128 (Fernet) at rest.
5. Sharing
We do NOT sell your data. We share only with the processors above and as required by law. Within your organization, content is visible to admins on your tenant.
6. Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. Email privacy@medivideos.com or use the in-app settings. Healthcare-content workflows may have additional retention obligations under your local regulation.
7. PHI & medical data
MediVideos Studio is a marketing tool, not a clinical system. Do NOT upload patient health information (PHI) or anything containing identifiable patient data. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity.
8. Cookies
We use a session cookie (JWT in localStorage) for authentication. We use minimal analytics. No third-party advertising trackers.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-product. Continued use means acceptance.
